A PLACE TO STEP, TO BREATH, TO MEET, TO REST.

A FEW DAYS OF WORK, SILENCE, REST, RECREATION, AND COEXISTENCE.

At the end of Passeig Joan Brudieu, near Parc del Segre and next to the Hospital, stands an emblematic building, popularly known as “la Punxa”. In its simplicity, it houses a church with its stained glass windows and murals by prominent artists, a Janerià Interpretation Center and the tomb of Blessed Anna Maria Janer.

The building, a former convent, is a historical site dating back to 1900. Located next to the Hospital where the Institut de Germanes de la Sagrada Família d'Urgell was founded, a Catalan congregation spread across eleven countries, serving education, youth, healthcare and a missionary dedication to the most disadvantaged.

Today, it is home to a community that shares its love of the peaceful surroundings and hospitality with guests. You can also participate in the liturgy, if you wish.
